The complex of engineering surveys were fulfilled out simultaneously in four regions of the Russian Federation in a short period of time. Topographical, engineering-ecological and hydrometeorological surveys, as well the field archaeological researches and collection of initial data for design were carried out in the strip of main gas pipelines. The drilling was performed under conditions of severe swampiness, on permafrost soils.
